Mission, Vision, and Goals Our Mission...
P.E.A.C.E. aims to make the citizens of Northern Arizona aware of the U.N.
designation of September 21 as International Peace Day and to encourage
citizens to join the theme "Who Will You Make Peace With?" through
respect and tolerance for others. Our Vision...
To promote the good
deed that puts one at peace with oneself, and, at the same time, makes
one feel at peace with others and the world.
To help people become
informed about ways to find and make peace with each other in order to
build a more peaceful community.
To encourage the
expression of peace through various media such as Education, Music, Film,
Sport, Dance, and Art.
To change lives by
encouraging peace awareness through transformative actions of respect
and tolerance.
Goals
To highlight northern
Arizona as a community that values and embraces peace. Peace is needed
everywhere and starting with the individual and the community is a small
way of changing the world, just a little at a time.
To raise awareness
locally about the need to promote Peace in Flagstaff through public
education, duscussions and peaceful
interaction in our community.
